Valerie Swisher
Valerie is a PhD student specializing in OCD research at Penn State University under the mentorship of Dr. Michelle Newman. Her research focuses on using various methods (e.g., ecological momentary assessment) to predict and characterize treatment resistance and non-response in individuals with OCD. Valerie has published 13 scientific articles to date, mostly relating to OCD and related disorders. She is passionate about using her research and work with OCD PA to raise awareness on evidence-based treatment for OCD.
