OCD Pennsylvania serves the entire state of Pennsylvania, from Erie and Pittsburgh to Philadelphia and the Pocono Mountains, and all of the areas in between.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>The International OCD Foundation is a donor-supported nonprofit organization founded in 1986 by a small group of individuals with OCD. The Foundation has grown into an international membership-based organization serving a broad community of individuals with OCD, their loved ones, and mental health professionals and researchers. They have affiliates in 25 states and territories in the US in addition to global partnerships with other OCD organizations and mental health non-profits around the world. OCD Pennsylvania is the local Pennsylvania affiliate for the International OCD Foundation.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Brianna Morrow is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Erie, PA. She is experienced in working with children living with OCD and other anxiety disorders. Brianna believes in using a strengths-based approach, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and play therapy.  Brianna received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo. She was a 2023 awardee of the Allies Muskin Career Development Leadership Program.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Emma Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in providing behavioral health services to adults with mood and anxiety disorders. She earned her graduate degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from American University. Emma has a special interest and expertise in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and has extensive training and experience with Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP). She received her training in ERP through UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, where she worked as the lead clinician for the OCD Adult Intensive Outpatient Program for four years. Emma stepped down as lead clinician in order to develop the Hoarding Outpatient Program, which she also facilitated as group leader for almost two years. She is also a board member of OCD Pennsylvania, the local affiliate of the IOCDF. She is genuine and warm in style which allows her to quickly build rapport and get to work on her patient’s issues. Emma is eager to work with clients at OCD Spectrum and help them to reclaim their lives back from OCD.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Board Members - Andy Pitrone - Andy Pitrone</image:title>
      <image:caption>Dr. Andy Pitrone learned to live courageously with contamination OCD while thriving as an elementary school teacher in the Union City (PA) School District. Andy uses Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) strategies to challenge his OCD mind while embracing contamination and uncertainty. He's been a trusted classroom teacher and family advocate for more than 20 years. Back in 2022, Andy teamed up with fellow board member Brianna Morrow to co-found We Are Courageous Kids. Children living with anxiety and OCD have benefitted from their organization's Power Boost and Summer Blast programming. Andy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Edinboro (now PennWest) University of PA in 1998. Several years later, he earned a Master of Education degree in Curriculum &amp; Instruction from Gannon University. After researching the lived experiences of grandparents raising one or more of their grandchildren, Andy earned his Doctorate in Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020. His dissertation is titled: Kinship Voices: Listening to Grandparent Caregivers Raising School-Age Children</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Danielle Henderson, PsyD, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with adults with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. She earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and during her postdoctoral fellowship and beyond she received training in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety disorders. She currently uses ERP and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in her practice. In addition to her clinical work, Danielle owns a training and consulting company where she teaches therapists how to treat OCD with ERP. Danielle is a professional member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and a board member of OCD Pennsylvania. She is passionate about spreading education and awareness about OCD to help close the gap in how long it takes for people living with OCD to get the right diagnosis and treatment.</image:caption>

Valerie has published 13 scientific articles to date, mostly relating to OCD and related disorders. OCD came into her life when she was 13 and for many years, she did not understand it and struggled with a variety of themes, mostly focusing on morality and religion. Learning about OCD was a game changer, but it wasn't until she received therapy for agoraphobia and panic disorder with a therapist that specialized in those topics, as well as OCD, that her relationship with anxiety changed. As she learned more about OCD, anxiety, and mental health, she began sharing her experiences in a podcast she started with one of her close friends.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Hersperger is a specialist in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive spectrum disorders and body-focused repetitive behaviors, using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Habit Reversal Training. Dr. Hersperger is experienced in using elements of PCIT (parent child interaction therapy) and collaborative/proactive problem solving to help families of children with challenging behaviors. She also has training and experience using comprehensive behavioral interventions for tics and trichotillomania. Dr. Hersperger enjoys working with parents/caregivers of children with anxiety to implement evidence-based frameworks and techniques.  EDUCATION &amp; TRAINING Dr. Hersperger earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. While at Rutgers, she worked several years at The Anxiety Disorders Clinic and with the Tourette’s Syndrome Program. Dr. Hersperger completed her pre-doctoral internship at Terry Children’s Center in New Castle, DE, where she was trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).</image:caption>
